Together, we are shaping the future of leadership and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration for organisational success. 

Launched by the Prime Minister in May 2015, the Malaysian Chapter works to catalyse real transformation in Corporate Malaysia through a culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI).

Its primary focus has been to facilitate at least 30% women representation on the boards of companies listed on Bursa Malaysia, and also welcomes non-listed entities and global multinational companies to join as a Corporate Advocate.

MACD is a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee and was founded in the year 2009 with the goal to further develop the Malaysian corporate directors with higher levels of entrepreneurship, corporate strategic execution and with best methods in corporate governance.

 

For this to happen, MACD continues to establish and maintain contacts amongst top-ranking business leaders, both locally and internationally.

Speak Up Malaysia focuses on e developing and operationalising cost-effective frameworks to improve the work experience and environment for employees at all levels, while balancing the interests of the organisation. This includes conducting risk assessments and gap analyses; developing codes of conduct, policies and procedures; embedding compliance culture; providing advisory and training; as well as handling complaints and investigations.

LeadWomen Sdn Bhd was established in 2011 with a mission to increase women representation in senior leadership and on the boards of corporate Malaysia.

 

Today their work is centered around equalising workplaces and boardrooms for all to be recognised, respected and thrive. The full value of diversity can only be harnessed when there is an equitable and inclusive workplace culture, which can only be inculcated when leaders lead inclusively.
